Daily sketches from the month of March!

Looking back on the month, I enjoyed working with some new colour combinations and gave colour pencils a try. I drew some objects from life, played with geometrics and even tried an owl.

The takeaway is I prefer the paint markers to the pencils because of the saturation.

Maybe if I had dedicated the entire sketchbook to coloured pencil and was careful about protecting the previous spreads I'd be happier with the results? I don't know, perhaps that's worth exploring in the next one, if there is to be a next one.
